Where better to to find fresh and delicious food to fill your fridge other than the local farm shop? With some many to choose from, here is just a small selection of some of our favourites in The Cotswolds which offer something a little special to stand out from the rest.

The Cotswold Guy in Guiting Power describes itself as a new breed of farm shop. With a passion for fresh ingredients and fine foods, we love that the shop is a wonderful blend of local produce to buy with tasty snacks and bakes whipped up by The Cotswold Guy, who also happens to be a private chef. With another shop opening up soon, we think the popularity for this blend of boutique farm shop with culinary destination will only continue to grow.

Established in the heart of the Cotswolds since 1808, Jesse Smith takes pride in offering exceptional quality and a fabulous service. They continue to push their simple philosophy of value, respect and natural farming to create outstanding flavour.

Originally, a butcher shop in the heart of Cirencester on Black Jack Street and still very much a firm favourite for the locals, Jesse Smith expanded it's business to include Jesse's Farm Shop and Coffee House, located in the Love Lane area of Cirencester and they now have a food hall in Elkstone.

The Food Hall has become a firm favourite to visit since opening in summer for the sheer selection of fantastic food to pick. On top of its usual butchery counter, full deli and cheese counters, they share the space with Knead Bakery who are renowned for their bread, cakes and patisseries.
